When most of us sit down and make our yearly resolution to do more content creation, we tend to think of either:
- writing a blog post
- populating the Instagram Account
- finally mustering up the courage to jump in front of a camera film a video
And while all of these are great ideas, what about creating some good old fashioned audio?
We Are Natural Speakers
Speaking tends to be something us real estate professionals are good at. We spend the large majority of each day talking about neighborhoods, schools, development, designs, lending, or contracts. We understand scripts and have an internal portfolio of pat answers we consistently spit out when asked one of the many questions we get during each and every transaction.
So why not capture ourselves doing what we do naturally? For whatever reason, audio seems to be the middle child of content creation, so to speak. Every new app created by Facebook, Zillow, or Youtube is designed to make video production faster and easier, but we never see the latest and greatest app targeting audio.
Effective. Easy. Cheap.
But audio is not to be ignored. It’s a very powerful medium that is cost effective, easy to create, and easy to distribute.
We believe that audio can be used as either a featured piece or live in support of the written word. Often times, we will use audio to offer a overview of a post to give the user a sense of what to expect if they elect to dive into the entire narrative.
