“I love projects. Always have and always will.
“As a firm, we have no doubt been lucky to work on some really awesome projects.
“I think at the core any new project is figuring out where it fits in the marketplace and not only crafting a powerful message which will set the project apart, but devising the best methods to deliver the message. When you get it right, projects become successful. When you don’t, the projects struggle.
“Since we opened in 2008, we have been a part of many new projects. Initially, we were brought in as the marketing arm and were not really asked into the planning aspects…that has now changed. We are now getting asked in during the design phase to help offer some structure to potential concept. As the market returns to normal (especially for development lending), the flow of new projects is beginning again in earnest. Our success in resuscitating Ginter Place and in pre-construction sell out Citizen 6 (all sold before SHHETROCK!) has turned some heads. When developers find out that we not only handled the sales, but were able to provide any or all of print and web, then they really get excited about our involvement.
“Developers require more analysis and more planning…and we are too happy to provide. MLS is an amazing database and I think as an industry we way under-utilize the system. Developers need us to look inside the numbers and predict what WILL happen (not tell them what HAS happened) and more importantly, why. When you can learn to become predictive, your value as an agent (or agency) increases and opportunities begin to find you…
